In this paper, a novel risk-based, two-objective (technical and economical) optimal reactive Power dispatch method in a wind-integrated Power system is proposed which is more consistent with operational criteria.  The technical objective includes the minimization of the new voltage instability risk index. The economical objective includes cost minimization of reactive Power generation and active Power loss. The proposed voltage instability risk employs a hybrid possibilistic (Delphi-Fuzzy)-probabilistic approach that takes into consideration the operator’s experience, the wind speed and demand forecast uncertainties when quantifying the risk index. The decision variables are the reactive Power resources of the system. To solve the problem, the modified multi-objective particle swarm optimization algorithm with sine and cosine acceleration coefficients is utilized. The method is implemented on the modified IEEE 30-bus system. The proposed method is compared with those in the previously published literature, and the results confirm that the proposed risk index is better at estimating the voltage instability risk of the system, especially in cases with severe impact and low probability. In addition, according to the simulation results compared to typical security-based planning, the proposed risk-based planning may increase the security and economy of the system due to better utilization of system resources.

Argument concerning the meaning of Power is one of the most controversial issues in the thought of thinkers such as Michel Foucault. Foucault and his like-mined thinkers, with their departure from conventionally held opinion about Power, believe that Power does not reside only in the formal structures of politics but it is also in the whole fabric of society. Foucault himself points out that he intends to suggest a shorter way that would make us better understand the meaning of, as he puts it, “new economic of Power relations”. His suggested method is more experimental, having closer relation with our current situation and guaranteeing the connection between theory and practice. In this article, it is tried to investigate the origin of Foucault’s thoughts as one of the influential thinkers of 20th century, and then analyze the concept of Power and its relation to liberty and knowledge as expressed by Foucault.

In various engineering computation, formulas play a key role. Pure mathematical relationships have always been a challenge for students. If an attractive method can be used to memorize the different parameters in the formulas with innovative methods, there is a good incentive for the student to gain a deeper understanding of mathematical equations. In this paper, this method is applied to the vehicle Power relation, and proposed idea is formed with the help of various images. Choosing a suitable image that represents a concept has subtleties. By looking at these images and the answers received, the appropriate images can be selected. For implementation, different methods are introduced in the classroom. These practices are expressed in the form of classroom activities as well as extracurricular activities. To apply the proposed method, students’ participation in the class can be used well and assignments can also be allocated individually or in groups. Variety in the methods used and the type of exercises can each enhance some of the students’ skills. This method has been implemented for several semesters in both undergraduate and graduate levels. A survey of students shows the effectiveness of the proposed method in perpetuating the parameters in a mathematical formula.

This paper investigates the methods of Power relations appearing in everyday jokes in a teahouse. By using ethnomethodology and conversation analysis method, we tried to show how cultural concepts within Power relations constructed through strategies and language games of the social actors in a special context and use as a tool to advance their purposes and intentions. This qualitative study within three months of the study and a researcher in the field of audio recording of conversations and analysis of conversations is replication rules. A purposive sample of four main groups present in Teahouse and conversation among members of the group on it. The results show that how concepts such as culture and Power flown in the depth of our social life and to what extent integrated with our everyday life. What, at the first sight, maybe a simple joke, to what extend is the constitutive of cultural concepts in dialogue text and is affected by the rules and Power structure that located behind this apparent interaction and comply with that.

In this paper, a new method for extending and relaxing the noise-coupling (NC) technique is proposed to enhance the noise-shaping order without adding the number of integrators. The noise-shaping order of the introduced ∑∆ modulator whit applying a second-order noise-coupling technique is enhanced and its performance with optimizing the noise transfer function (NTF) zeros is improved. Also, by removing the analog adder at feedforward path and transferring it to a new feedback branch before the last integrator and adding second-order NC path can be decreased the input voltage swing to the quantizer. Thus, by improving the modulator resolution, Power consumption can be reduced. Mathematical analyses and behavioural simulation results confirm the effectiveness of the new NC method. To examine its performance, a 2nd-order single loop ΣΔ modulator was designed. The new noise-coupling method is used to achieve the three-order noise shaping to increase the resolution with low complexity and low-Power. The results show an outstanding improvement in signal-to-noise and distortion ratio (SNDR) compared to the conventional structure.

In drawing movements, the constraints imposed on the trajectory geometry properties and kinematics are known with two laws: 2/3 Power law and isochrony phenomenon. In this paper experiments have been designed to study the relation between two empirical laws in straight and curved patterns of drawing movements in 16-18 years old subjects. Providing two models of Power is indicated that in drawing movements, invariant features can be defining. These features are independent of subject, direction and size of trajectory and together they can simplify the role of the upper motor control system and decrease the degrees of freedom and the computational complexity.

Extended Abstract:1. Introduction:Sartre’s famous line in No Exit “Hell is other people” (p. 45) stands as a direct confirmation of the Power of Others. In fact, “[o] ur perception within the field of the Other is therefore always a battle with the Gaze: we struggle with the limitations of the structure that is laid out for us” (Grootenboer, 2012. p.45). To spin a piece of common thread intertwining all entities together right at the outset, Burt (2008) asserts that: “When validation and identity derives from others, others become hell, a state where torture is not meted out by devils but self-inflicted and inescapable” (p. 411). Therefore, under the gaze of the other person, our identities withdraw into the shell of reduction. We no more exist by ourselves, but our lives seem to be entangled in the labyrinthine network of others’ existences.

St Augustine’s Confessions is the first autobiography in western literature. It introduced first- person point of view to western thought. First- person point of view is an initiation to the concept of ‘self’. The City of God is the only work of St Augustine’s to episodically include his political philosophy, and therefore a good reference to understand his views on the subject. The present article is to examine the relation between ‘self’ and ‘political Power’ in St Agustin’s thought, employing an intertextual approach. In doing so, we will start by discussing the process of formation of ‘self’ in his thought. Then will refer to the ontological and epistemological origins of political Power in The City of God. At the end, it is shown that the sense of ‘self’ has an instrumental approach to ‘political Power’.

Studies about punishment in Iran often see penal reactions as tools for achieving abstract and Philosophical goals. In these, social functions of punishment are ignored. In contrast, punishment is social institution that has hidden and obvious functions in relation with other social phenomena. Producing and continuing of Power is one of hidden functions of punishment. Penal reactions are amongst effective methods of imposition of Power. For this reason, changes in the shape and nature of Power cause changes in the shapes of penal reactions. Genealogy of Power in Iran shows that there are deep connections between punishment and Power. With a genealogical study we can find that punishment is not just moral response to criminality, but a rational technology for production and continuation of Power. This research with a genealogical method shows that how punishment was used to continuation of Power discourse in Iran.
